International students and professionals are welcome at this updated, fully furnished house in the quiet Parkdale community, 2 blocks north of Commonwealth Stadium. There are 3 separate, secure bedrooms with one shared washroom in the house available to rent. The house is centrally located, only a short walk to the Commonwealth Stadium LRT subway station on Edmonton’s Capital Line. The Capital Line takes you directly to the University of Alberta and Downtown Edmonton. Public transportation is also nearby with bus service to NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology).

SUNROOM: The beautiful, bright sunroom is set up as a study/work area and lounge. It has desks for studying in a pleasant, bright space overlooking the tree lined street or you can just relax and chill on a sofa.

ROOM DESCRIPTION: The 2 larger bedrooms room come furnished with a full size double bed complete with bedding and a large wardrobe closet. Bedroom #1 also has a vanity/desk with a hideaway chair and a dresser/desk. Bedroom #2 has a large wardrobe closet and small closet. This room also has a large dresser with a mirror. Bedroom #3 has a 3/4 double bed, small closet and small dresser.

KITCHEN/Living/Dining Rooms: The kitchen has 2 large refrigerators, a ceramic cooktop stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle. The kitchen comes fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes and utensils and has ample storage for groceries, etc. There’s a Dining Room and large Living Room with a television and Fire TV Stick for streaming.

LAUNDRY: A washer and dryer for laundry are provided in the basement.

AVAILABLE UTILITIES: High speed fiber 250 Mbps internet, electricity and gas (new, reliable 1 year-old furnace) are included. The rental includes a base cost for all utilities. The utilities cost will be reconciled periodically with the tenants. Parkdale is a peaceful neighborhood with friendly residents. The house also has a security system to protect the residents, which includes a backyard security camera with flood lights, activated by motion sensor.

RENT COST: Room rent starts at $650, with the largest room priced at $750. Smoking, illegal drugs, pets, partying and overnight stays for visitors are strictly prohibited. Only serious students (in particular international interested in renting longer) and professionals are welcome. Thank you for your interest.
