Brand new building in downtown Chilliwack only a couple years old.

New appliances, including dishwasher and in suite laundry. Two available parking spaces in a secured lot come with the unit and lots of street parking available. Open concept with a nice sized balcony. Laminate flooring (no carpets) one main bathroom and an en suite in the master bedroom.

Two rooms available for rent, one is the master bedroom with private balcony and en suite bath for an extra $100 a month (so $850) and the other is a smaller basic bedroom.

Pets are allowed but there will be a damage deposit required from the rental company. (Deposit would be $1100 up from the listed $500)

Utilities come to around $100 a month, including high speed internet. Will be closer to $65 per month if we successfully rent both rooms.

This would be a short term lease ending in July, at which point anyone who wanted to stay would have to reapply/renegotiate with the rental management company.

My friend and I moved into this unit in July and signed a 1 year lease. However my friend has taken a new job and she is moving out so we are looking for someone to help take over their part of the lease.

About me, I am a single 40 year old Caucasian male, I work evenings and weekends so I do get home late (about 1am). I enjoy reading, video games, and watching “Let’s Play”s on Youtube so I spend most of my time at home and in my room. And I am a huge fan of kitchen gadgets, even if I don’t end up using them :P

I am reasonably tidy (not a neat freak but I clean up after myself) and am quiet but extremely friendly and easy to get along with.

My friend had the master bedroom and we were using the third bedroom as a living room/space for her kids to stay when they came out to visit. You will have a choice of which room you want but there will be a slightly higher cost for taking the master bedroom due to having your own private bathroom and balcony.

Apartment will be mostly unfurnished aside from basic kitchen utensils/gear.
