Beautifully furnished room with a private office in Verdun (Montreal)

This room will be available from February 21st to April 15th, 2024. (8 weeks total - flexible dates, negotiable)

The price is $1150 per month (everything included).

A very comfortable double room with private office space in a sunny two-bedroom apartment in a charming and trendy Montreal area (Verdun).

The apartment has high-speed internet access (perfect for Zoom calls), a Smart TV (Netflix and YouTube), a washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, access to two balconies, and free parking on the street (where permitted).

Guest access:

• The fully furnished shared apartment is shared with one other person.
• Private bedroom and peaceful office space with a lovely window view.
• A shared bathroom with one more person.
• A shared living room, dining room, kitchen, and an in-unit washer/dryer.
• The kitchen is fully equipped and excellent for cooking and hosting.
• Monthly cleaning fee included in price.

You will be within walking distance of two subway stations on the Montreal Metro Green Line (De L’Eglise and De Verdun). From these metro stations, it will only be a short ride to downtown MTL (15 minutes to the downtown center).

You can walk on Wellington Street, where you’ll find many interesting shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries, ice cream shops, and cafés just minutes from the apartment.

• These hardware stores are nearby: Rona, Dollarama, and Canadian Tire.
• Grocery stores nearby: IGA, Maxi, Fruiterie Vert Pomme, Marche Branche D’Olivier.
• Pharmacies (drug stores): Pharmaprix, Uniprix, and Jean Coutu (with a post office).
• There are two gas stations nearby.

Just a ten-minute metro ride away from Concordia and McGill University.

My name is Carolina. I am a visual artist and a teacher. I work remotely and travel for a few months every year. I love to take my time cooking and hosting dinners, I’m learning to dance Kizomba and Semba (Angolan dances), and during the summertime, I love to bike and discover new restaurants and breweries in and around the city. I also listen to a ton of podcasts while walking along the river (which is just a few minutes from the apartment). During the wintertime, I enjoy watching movies and going cross-country skiing, and from time to time have karaoke nights at my place. The room available will be mine for the duration of my stay in Europe (for roughly two months).
