Hi! I’m looking for a roommate (ideally a female roommate or couple) for the other bedroom in a 2br 1ba suite in the Burnside area.

I’m on the lease for the suite, and you’ll be renting one of the rooms month to month. $1000/mo includes all utilities and high-speed fiber internet. Hoping to find someone who wants to live here at least six months to a year or more!

About the room:

• Big room! Approx 14.5’ x 14.5’, at least 210 sq ft, gets to 15.5’ at widest
• Lots of great light - huge windows and a stained glass window!
• High ceilings!
• Wood floors
• Pocket doors optionally open to living room, or can be kept shut.
• Unfurnished; there’s a dresser and rug from the previous tenant which you can keep or take to a thrift shop

Spaces shared w/ me:

• Bathroom - newly repainted!
• Kitchen - good amount of cabinet & counter space, gas stove, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, microwave
• Dining room
• Living room
• Side porch
• Washer & dryer in unit

About the house:

• Three stories, other folks rent the 2br upstairs suite and two 1br suites downstairs.
• All suites are self-contained with separate entrances.
• The house exterior is unimpressive, but there’s a great backyard with apple and pear trees, garden space, flowers, space for hanging out or grilling
• Street parking, we’ve already got folks who park in the driveway
• Gas heat, no A/C but it’s generally fine in summer with fans

• No tobacco smoking at all, no smoking indoors
• No dogs
• Landlord will allow a cat, with additional pet deposit. I love cats! 😻

About me:

• 34 F, work from home doing coaching around pragmatic goals, emotional resilience & psychedelic integration
• Out of the house some evenings and weekends for events, some days I cowork elsewhere w/ friends
• Don’t have any pets currently, just a lot of plants
• Generally like to keep the space tidy
• Very up for hosting events & having folks over, though not much for loud late night parties
• I’m handy - I’ve got some tools & like making things, fixing stuff
• I enjoy cooking, gardening, making kombucha, fermentation projects
• I love going to acroyoga & ecstatic dance
• I’m a long-time burner, and I’m the team lead for Sanctuary at our regional Burning Man event. Would love to camp together!
