Relationship to Owner: I’ll be your roommate and I’m on the lease! Off-lease roommate – Rent will be paid to myself. There will be a written roommate agreement.

Rent Control: Rent increases for this unit are capped at the annual provincial guideline because this unit was lived in before November 15, 2018.

ROOMMATE SEARCH TIME! Looking for a new roommate in a 1 Bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. Move in April 1st. $1380 - utilities and internet are extra and split between us, but usually come up to $40-$60 for the month. Optional parking spot available as well for $100 a month, but you don’t have to opt in for it!

I’m on the hunt for a new roommate! It’s one really big room with a walk-in closet as well as an incredibly spacious living area in the heart of the annex at 7 Walmer Road - which is literally above Spadina station (800+ square feet for the whole apartment!) with a Metro across the street. Utilities are extra, with coin operated laundry on the main floor.

I really love living here (have been here for 7 years!) and am a pretty easy going person, who likes gaming, cooking things and going on adventures! I’m a 31 year old theatre artist and I’ll be out of the house for gigs a lot, so you’ll have the place to yourself a bunch. My girlfriend occasionally crashes here because she’s in teacher’s college in September-October and then in January-February, but she mostly keeps to herself and works in my room.

While I’m totally fine if we’re doing our own thing and having alone time (I work from home a bunch when I’m not in rehearsal), I prefer a roommate who I can be social and friendly with, not someone who’s going to hermit away in their room. I’m looking for a roommate who is excited about living in this really fun neighbourhood. Let’s say hello to each other, talk about our Baldur’s Gate 3 builds and cook some fun things!

When I’m not on gig, I love watching movies, playing video/board games, exploring weird and strange places in the city and cooking (I’m a pretty creative cook and will try anything once!). I value open communication and a sense of humor. Let’s approach each other assuming good intent first! My best roommate situations have resulted in life long friendships.

I’m pretty social - I have people over for dinners and hang outs sometimes, but am not a heavy drinker or substance user.

While I’m not someone who’s hyper-aggressive about cleaning, I’m looking for someone interested in keeping common areas clean, dishes cleared from the sink and dish rack, as well as garbage thrown out in their respective recycling, garbage or compost.

No pets unfortunately, as I’m allergic.
