1 furnished room (upstairs) in a four bedroom house with two shared bathrooms on a quiet street in Cole Harbour. Common areas are all furnished and house was renovated a few years ago. Basement is furnished. This is car-friendly area (large driveway), though a 68/168 bus stop is about a 10 minute walk according to Google Maps.
(I am also renting an unfurnished room in the same house. If really necessary, I can also un-furnish this one.)
Rent is $850 plus 1/4 of the utilities (electric, water, oil). Utilities vary from month-to-month (electric is bimonthly, water is quarterly, oil is as-needed) but are approximately $150/month.
I am open to negotiating a rent discount if someone is willing to formally take on some house upkeep responsibilities (like mowing the yard, shovelling snow, etc.).

Currently there are two roommates, but ultimately there will be four total.
Roommate 1: I’m a queer man in my 30s and own the house. I’m a working professional, but my work is usually work-from-home but also with heavy travel. I’m quiet but friendly and pretty nerdy (I have lots of board games). I have had dogs here in the past and might have dogs here in the future (not planning on this anytime soon, but more of an allergy notification). Roommate 2: A woman who is a working professional. She has a CAT. Roommate 3: Currently vacant. Roommate 4: Currently vacant.
