About the room
The apartment is a 12-minute walk to the Junction and a 10-minute walk to Bloor. Both mainstreets have a ton of cute restos, to choose from. The Junction has a great music scene, especially if youβre into Jazz! The closest stations are Dundas West or Keele Station which are a 13 min walk away. High Park is also a 13-minute walk away! Both are accessible faster by bus as well, the 89 bus can be accessed at Humberside and Keele. Grocery store-wise, you have Frescho (10 min walking) and NoFrills (15 min walking).
The room is a 1 bedroom unfurnished in a colourful and bright 2-bedroom semi-basement apartment. The unit is fairly bright because of the big living room windows. The apartment building is a tri-plex, so only two other units up top. The bedroom is pretty sizable, fits a double bed, and has a small closet space. There is a small front yard where some gardening can be done! I have grown tomatoes before. And also, there is one parking space available for a small car in the back, as well as, registered street parking.
About the roomies
A bit about me: I am a photographer and work in a print shop! I love being creative and being a part of a community. I help host two social groups in the neighbourhood (a Photowalk group, that explores cool areas in Toronto, and a movie club group with a few other friends in the neighbourhood). My jobs keep me out a ton, but oftentimes when I am home I am editing away, crafting, or cooking a new recipe. Looking for a roommate who is creative-minded and hopefully shares similar interests to me in the photo and movie realm. I would like to be friends with my roommate, not just housemates π
