Hi, My old room is available starting on April 1st, in a 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment, by Rockland Ave & Oak Bay Ave junction. Your roommate will be a 25 old male student, who is the main renter of the place. I’m sharing the detailed informations that my roommate wrote, below:

Room for rent in a 2 bedroom Oak Bay apartment for anybody! 900$ a month + hydro and internet, move in date ASAP, details below. Possible move in with 2 individuals (coworkers or friends) to split the rent into 450/450. The living room has a good couch. Available for viewing immediately.

The room is furnished with a bed

The building is Rockland Heights on 1791 Rockland Avenue. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, slowest elevator in the world available. Laundry is outside of the unit and costs coins for washing and drying (drying rack is available though). Large spacious living room, balcony with a lot of sunlight during the day, clean bathroom and kitchen with most of the needed kitchen utensils.

Close to a lot of bus routes, including 8, 5, 2 (right outside of the building), 14, 15, 11 (5 min walking distance), 28, 27 (10 min walking distance). The busses can take you downtown in 15 minutes, to Camosun/Uvic in 15/20 minutes or to Gordon Head in 30 minutes.

A lot of different businesses in walking distance, including the best grocery store in town, a barbershop, a liquor store, Shoppers Drug Mart, dry cleaner, a pub, a coffeeshop and plenty of restaurants and fast food places all 5 minutes away. There is also an Oak Bay village shopping strip 10 minutes away with more grocery stores, restaurants, plant stores, coffee shops, a Starbucks, a hardware store and a UPS. The beach is also in 30 minute walking distance (downhill, returning back home is an exercise).

It’s a building managed by Devon properties. The price is 900$ a month, + internet and hydro (hydro is about 10$ a month, internet is 50$ and there is also parking available for 35$ a month, although there are plenty of spaces to park around).

About me: Relatively recent Uvic Ba Psyc graduate, doing kitchen work. I’m looking for someone who can keep living spaces clean and help pay rent, that’s about it.
