I am seeking a female roomate in a beautiful and spacious 2 floor semi-detached house in the Upper Beaches featuring a home gym, awesome spacious kitchen, backyard patio + bbq, free laundry and private parking spot

Unit: One private fully furnished room in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house for a 6 month lease starting July 1st with an option to extend month to month after.

Lease terms: This is a 6 month lease from July 1st-Dec 31st 2024 with opportunity to extend lease.

Rent Control: Unit was used for residential purposes prior to Nov 2018

Location: Woodbine and Gerrard, 10 min walk to the Danforth/Woodbine Subway station, 25 min walk to beaches.

What is your relationship to the unit: Leaseholder looking to rent 1 unfurnished bedroom, finding a replacement for roommate with permission from the landlord. There are 2 other tenants including myself.

I am looking to rent out this room to another female with similar lifestyles, preferably into holistic health and wellness. I cook a lot, eat delicious whole foods (omnivore), yoga, bike, hike, lift weights. I like to host friends/family once in a while. I am looking for a roommate who is quiet, clean, does their own thing. Warmth, earthiness and personality compatibility are important. No couples and no pets or smokers due to allergies. The space:

The home has central AC/heating.

The room for rent is furnished with a mattress and lamp. You can buy the bedframe, desk, mirror and dresser from the previous tenant for $500. The common areas are fully furnished so your belongings/furniture will be limited to your bedroom aside some kitchen appliances. If there is other stuff we can chat and see if it can fit.

The main floor features a home gym (bench, barbell, plates, dumbbells, kettlebell, bands, etc), a cozy living room surrounded by a jungle of plants, a library of my holisitic health and esoteric books, a front porch with seating, a massive kitchen with an island and dining table and many kitchen appliances; waffle maker, ice cream maker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, blender, toaster, microwave. There is also a backyard with a deck, bbq and patio furniture, a parking spot, basement laundry at no extra cost.

2nd (upper) floor has the washroom (large shower but no bathtub unfortunately) and 3 bedrooms.

This is a beautiful neighborhood. There are some truly amazing local businesses, restaurants, bakeries, farmers markets, health food stores, fitness centers and ravines around here. Every day I’m falling in love with this neighborhood more and more.
