Kartik's room

One bedroom available for the beginning of May in a spacious, bright two bedroom apartment right at Granville and Broadway. The bedroom is large enough to very comfortably fit a queen bed and has a huge window with awesome views of downtown and the north shore. The building is fairly new (~2 years old), all rentals, has a bike room, and the rooftop patio with garden plots is a great perk!

The kitchen and living room are pretty well-equipped, but I would totally welcome any additions/decorations/plants that a new roommate would have, so there’s definitely potential to make the space feel like your own as well! The bedroom can be either furnished or unfurnished. Laundry is in-unit and there is also some storage space in-unit for whatever you bring with you.

The 99, 9, 10, 14, 4, 7, 50, and 84 buses all stop nearby so there is easy access to downtown, UBC, and pretty much anywhere in the city.

Looking for a kind, cool roommate that will keep the space clean and communicates well. An ideal roommate values a friendly atmosphere where we both have our own lives and hang out when it makes sense.

About me: I work in health research and have lived in shared living spaces here in Vancouver, in Ontario, and abroad over the past few years. I tend to work quite a bit and enjoy keeping my living space orderly and peaceful, but also have friends over from time to time. I spend my free time biking/bike-packing, playing tennis and geogussr, and hiking. I also tend to share baked goods and some vegetarian meals with those I live with (hopefully that’s ok with you!).
