Erb Street West

Hi there! We are Alicia, Wesley, and Lindsey, and we are looking for one roommate for our recently leased apartment! Lindsey is entering her first year at UW for Psychology, Wesley is entering his second year for Protection, Security and Investigations at Conestoga College, and I (Alicia) am entering my first year for the ECE program at Conestoga College!

The address for the apartment is 286 Erb Street Drive. The apartment is nice, spacious, clean, quiet, and in a very good location, especially if you are a UWL or UW student! There will be a parking spot available for you, though, so if you go to a school farther away like Wesley and I do and need to commute, that’s okay too! It is $495 a month, all utilities included and is unfurnished with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a walk-in pantry, and a sizeable living room. There is a laundry room on site and is coin operated, $2 per load (wash and dry altogether is $2). The property is no smoking, so there is no smoking of any kind permitted inside the unit. Move-in is September 1st

We have signed the lease and have paid the deposit of $495 for the last room already, so you will owe $495 to us. We are pretty relaxed though so if you want to sign the lease and need a couple of weeks to gather the deposit money, that’s perfectly fine :) Monthly payments occur on the first of every month, so the next time you pay rent would be September 1st

We are looking for someone who meets the following description: Someone who…

• will shop with us for furniture, as the apartment is unfurnished, and will split the costs of furniture with us (TV and stand, dining table, etc.)
• is a dog person (Lindsey has a dog who is the cutest doggo you will ever meet, she is calm and cuddly and very happy)
• cares about school but is also easy going and relaxed in general
• will split an internet bill with us
• is fun and likes music
• is a night person (we all like to stay up late, talk, and drink, so if you sleep early and will never talk to us, or will be annoyed if we’re up playing video games in the living room, we’re probably not the right people for you to live with :P)
• has friends / references we can contact
• is reliable and trustworthy
• will either split the cost of groceries with us or buy their own (in that case, we will not touch your food and you will not touch ours)

We will most likely be renewing the lease at the end of the 12-month term, so if you want the security of having somewhere to live for the next two years, that’s great! If you only need a place for a year, no problem :)
