Looking for FEMALE STUDENTS / YOUNG PROFESSIONAL WOMEN ONLY. What’s GREAT about this room?? You will be in a SAFE, HAPPY home with two other females and a sweet puppy. Even my next door neighbours are females and are SO NICE. Everyone watches out for each other here. It’s a very special place. I have a clean, updated townhouse in Milton. Derry & Bronte St. S. area. Walking distance to groceries, restaurants, parks, trails, about a 10min walk to the Milton Hospital, 5min drive to the new Library, and 20min walk to Milton’s Main Street. I have one furnished bedroom on the top floor that will have storage inside the room for clothing and just outside the room as well (a deep/tall linen closet has been converted for your use). There is a bedroom beside yours that is my 4yr old daughter’s. I am ONLY looking for female students or young professional females - to keep the arrangement safe for all of us involved. You will be able to share our full washroom for showering - and all of your regular/daily bathroom needs you can take over the Powder Room as yours. Although the bedroom you would rent is cozy (Fairmont double mattress/bed, big window that overlooks a beautiful maple tree, side table, lamp and storage area), I also have a semi-finished basement that you can study in whenever you like, there are tables and chairs there for your use. That is where the brand new (shared) laundry machines are too. I have a fridge in the kitchen you can have a section of for your meals. If I am cooking and can share, I will. But usually you will have to figure your own meals out and clean up any mess you make in the process. I can give you a cupboard in the kitchen to use as well. We can figure out a fair cleaning and laundry schedule. Visitor parking is available around the complex for you to park. I have a puppy who is crate trained and potty trained (sorry, I cannot accept Roomies that have other children or animals in the home) - I will describe more in the next section. I am looking for a NON SMOKER roomie please. MAMA BEAR Disclaimer: Because of the dynamics here, I would prefer if you did not bring any visitors to the home at all , or rarely as long as you clear it with me in advance. This is still my home and where my daughter is to feel safe - so I will not compromise there. I hope you understand :) I will also require a criminal record check, references and a recent credit score. I put $500 as the “deposit” - but what I actually mean by that is First & Last rent is due day one, and I will need a $250 refundable security deposit for any damages or cleaning fees that might be incurred due to your tenancy. The place and bedroom is fully furnished. I rarely have my own friends here, or my daughters friends, fyi.

Me - I am a 38 year old single/divorced female. Non-smoker. I am kind and fair and just trying to keep things floating at home, so I have decided to rent out a room to the RIGHT female. I work full time hours and I run a photography business on the side. I also visit my family on half of the weekends , so I am in and out of the house often. It’s a fairly chill home atmosphere here.

My daughter - She is 4yrs old and in grade school now. She has an amazing friendly personality with manners and no temper tantrums. She is with me through the week except for Wednesdays to Thursday after school (every week) and then alternating weekends she is at her dads from Friday after school till Monday after school when I pick her up. So basically every other weekend and Wednesday nights it is a kid-free household. When she is home, she plays in the living room (level below the rented bedroom) and in the kitchen (two floors below the rented bedroom). Her bedroom would be next to yours, but she is barely ever in there. Lately she has been sleeping in my room, since we brought home the puppy and I have been giving her extra special attention to avoid jealousy :) She sleeps through the night. We usually spend our time in the living room, colouring and watching movies. We are generally in bed 8:30pm-6:30am.

My Puppy - she is 4 months old. She sleeps through the night from about 8:30pm-6:30am/7am. She is potty trained. She is crate trained. She is in the crate on and off all day - when she is out of the crate she is supervised by myself or my neighbor , AND is ONLY allowed on the kitchen level right now. Therefore the rest of the home is Pet-Free. My puppy is a Bernese Mountain Dog. They are known as one of the friendliest, calmest breeds out there. She is currently 30lbs and will get much bigger. So I will need you to be comfortable with large dogs. She is a really good puppy so far and the crate training really helps everyone go about their business without the dog all over us. She only barks when someone comes home or when she wakes up and is ready to come out of the crate. She does not bark through the night at all. If I get up to use the washroom at let’s say 5am, she might howl for 5mins (thinking I am going to let her out), but then she realizes its not time to get up and will fall back asleep. Typical puppy stuff, but easy to tolerate.
