About the room

The apartment is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. The total of 760 is about the average of your half: the rent is $712.50 a month, internet is $30.50 (Shaw highspeed, room for you on the shawgo wifi as well), hydro is around $30-$35 every two months.

The building is located next to the Royal Jubilee Hospital. It is also walking distance to several walk in clinics, several pharmacies, and a grocery store. Oakbay Rec is a 10min walk away. The 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 27, and 28 bus routes are all within 5 minutes, and the 2, 3, and 7 are within 10 minutes. Almost anywhere in Vic is within two buses.

Parking is available for $25 dollars a month if I remeber correctly.

About the roomies

I do not drink and ideally the person renting the room won’t be a partier. I am fine with smoking, but it must be done outside the building, per the lease.

I am a student at UVic and work part-time. I am a bit of a homebody and I am a night owl. I have zero issues with you being loud while I’m sleeping as long as it’s not at a level that would disturb the other people in the building. I am not the worlds perfect roommate. I tend to watch netflix late at night either in the living room, the bath tub, or my room. I also tend to go for late night walks I try to keep it quiet but there may be a small amount of ambient noise. This means if your a light sleeper this is probably not the room for you.

I am reasonably tidy, I keep my stuff in shared areas organized. I believe in a reasonably equal split of shared storage areas (although I do need an extra shelf for my board games which you would be welcome to use). I do have friends over on occasion. That being said I am fine with you having friends over or spending the night as long as it is not every night.

You would need to fill out an application and would be added to the lease which ends at the end of June 2020, however, the option to live here longer is available.

If you would like more information or have any questions feel free to message me.

Thank you!
