Alyson's room

I have a beautiful house on 3 acres in Bolton, Ontario. I am considering renting out part of my basement apartment with separate entrance, full kitchen, living room, bedroom, full bathroom and storage. I am dog friendly (cat too, if they are indoor and don’t kill my beautiful birds). Shopping is 20 minute walk or 4 minute drive. The home is on a septic system built in the 1950’s so water conservation is a must. I would consider trading a portion of the rent for yard work and gardening.

I am a retired math teacher who continues to be passionate about learning and being adventurous. I love the outdoors. I speak English, Dutch, Spanish and French is my next project. The environment is important to me and despite not having children, I do my best to have a low impact on the environment. If you use single use plastic water bottles, continue to look for a different roomie. You must be employed, reasonably quiet and kind. I am not in a rush to find a roomie, I would like the right person.
