Maddy

Hi! My name is Maddy, I’m 30 years old, I’m an ESL teacher from England, and I’m looking for a room from 1st July (earlier also possible if it helps). I moved to Vancouver 2.5 months ago, and really enjoy being outdoors, going on hikes, and spending time at the beach.

I consider myself to be an extremely respectful housemate. I’ve probably shared about 15 houses/flats over the past 12 years (in England, Spain, and France), so I’m very used to adapting to people around me, and I’m always respectful of my flatmates’ time, space, and energy. I’m currently in my second short-term sublet since I arrived, and I’m desperate to find somewhere more long-term!

I’m tidy, sociable, open-minded and respectful, so you’ll never need to worry about mess or noise with me! I speak Spanish and French, have lived abroad for several years, and I’m open to living with any nationalities. I’m looking for friendly and respectful housemates (who don’t lock themselves in their rooms and ignore each other, like my last housemates in London), and a place that feels like home. A fairly social household would be lovely, but really not essential, and I’m definitely not looking for a party house!
