I’m looking to retire this year and would like to change my living arrangements afterwards to save on costs and to no longer be tied to a house. Overall timing is flexible which sort of is the whole point. Ideally, I’m looking for something with enough space, on a farm or at least semi rural; I’m not a city person. If things work out it should also be long term,
I definitely would prefer a mature, female roommate without an ex and/or children/grandchildren coming over every other weekend. I’m laid back with a sense of humour and quiet but don’t spend my time knitting sweaters either, sort of an adventurous homebody. A similar personality in my roommate would be awesome. I like my personal space but enjoy spontaneous interaction with somebody else who also enjoys their personal space i.e. I enjoy the company of a roomie without needing to constantly or ever ‘do stuff together’.
