I’m 33, quiet, respectful, and (I like to think) sometimes funny. I’m pretty clean, but not obsessive, and keep shared spaces tidy.

I’m looking for a roommate and have a furnished bedroom and bathroom in my 2 bed 2 bath corner unit (you can find the room posting from my profile). It’s a beautiful 4yr old apartment in downtown Langford near the 50 bus route with in-suite laundry, a/c, and a dishwasher, etc. If you’re new to town, traveling to work, are an international student, etc., it may be a perfect fit for you.

More about my home habits: My “quiet” (sleeping) hours are around 9/10 pm to 6/8 am and I mostly work from home. While I am a bit of a homebody, I also respect other’s need for space when they need it. I don’t do parties, but small gatherings with reasonable notice are fine (and of course I’d expect “small” and “reasonable” to be mutually defined and agreed upon). My senior cat Minnie is not up for any other pets - I apologize on her behalf.

I don’t drink or smoke and there is 0 smoking on the property, but if you drink we can discuss and agree upon boundaries so we’re both comfortable. In general, I believe communication is key to a happy home. I’m also fully vaccinated and require the same.

Even though the above might seem like a bit much to list out right away, my best roommate experiences have been with upfront communication about the kind of things I’ve shared above, a signed roommate agreement upfront, and open communication thereafter, so that’s important to me now going forward.
