Hey!

I’m in search of a room for rent or an affordable 1 bedroom. I grew up here in Vic but have also lived in tofino, Vancouver, and recently returned to Vic after working at a fishing lodge in Haida Gwaii this summer. I’m currently doing freelance graphic design and looking into a winter lodge job. With the winter lodge job, depending on the lodge, I would be away for Jan-Apr, or back very rarely during that time. My ideal home vibe is a clean and welcoming space with a yard; where people are comfortably themselves and can communicate any roommate issues in a constructive and kind way. I take pride in my space and always make it beautiful with plants and good lighting. I am very welcoming and and an easy hang but also like my alone time in my room. My hobbies include art, music, cooking, tv n movies, poetry, dancing, games, floating in lakes, travelling, having new experiences, and using my propane fire pit as much as possible.

I’m clean and at this point in my life it is a deal breaker for me. I would like to live with someone/people that feel the same way. I’m also not so into the idea of just filling a room and cohabiting, I want to be your friend! As a person I am kind, empathetic, generous, silly, social but can also read a room and enjoy silence. I’ve got a 1.5 year old cat named minnow. She is pretty shy but also really funny once she’s comfortable. She has been around other cats and is fine. Doesn’t know dogs but I think she can adjust to pretty much anything. I would really love to find a place with a yard for her to adventure in.
