BUDGET 700-1000 Hello! I am looking for a roommate to join forces with to rent a place together. I want a place that includes all utilities or at least some and need to be close to or in downtown. I am very respectful, considerate, friendly, clean, open and willing. I don’t party, drink or smoke myself but all I ask for is respect towards that. I would prefer someone sober but I’m open! My budget is 700 but can go higher to 1000 as my expenses are really low. If we could swing 600, that would be awesome too. I will be making a guaranteed 1700-1800 a month from my paid program that I start at the end of the month and maybe some extra if I want. I can’t do more than 1000 for my share. I feel like this post is about to be too long but that’s just how Ima do it!

I can’t live with pets just because it limits what is available to rent which makes me sad as I do have a cat but she will be staying elsewhere while I take this year for myself. I am looking at renting this said place for a year.

I would love to live with someone who shares a lot of the same morals and values as I. I value honesty, open communication, respect, accountability, humour, boundaries, cleanliness without being rude about it or getting mad at a home looking lived in, etc. I can’t live in perfect cleanliness myself, it makes me uncomfortable. My ideology is I keep any mess small. I like to clean as its therapeutic for myself so Im a clean up as I go person.

A little bit about myself outside of some values and morals! I love music very dearly. I don’t know what I would do without music! Luckily even without CDs or streaming or vinyls or any electronic source for music, you can make music. I love music production but would not call myself a producer. I enjoy working on electronic music on my laptop. I adore film although it has taken a spot on the back burner a bit these last few months as my life has changed a lot. Horror and horror adjacent films being my favourite but I got favourites in most other genres. Writing is something I enjoy as well as reading. Reading is something that has come back into my life this last while and now it’s one of my favourite things to do. I enjoy makeup despite my skin hating it. I love drag and would love to go to more drag shows. Concerts are important to me and wish to go see more of them even if I don’t know the artist or band. Riding my bike and walking is also a returning favourite. I am spiritual but don’t have any belonging or title for what I try to practice. I love essential oils, incense sticks, oils such as castor, I smudge and use charcoal to burn herbs and flowers so if you are sensitive to scents, we won’t work lol! I also like cutting up t shirts and seeing what I can do. I am horrible at it but I keep going anyhow. I like ‘creepy’ things so if you are superstitious or do not like ‘dark’ things at all, I might not be a good roommate for you.

Anyhow that’s just a little about me! I am easy to live with and have never had any problems around being easy going and respectful. I need to find a place around August 9th and it would be awesome to have more options because I have a roommate. It is a big task to meet and feel out the chemistry plus the vibes and what not, and then find a place together. But I am an optimistic person and willing to try until I figure it out!
