I currently work/volunteer doing peer support at the women’s centre and a women’s shelter. I also do dog walking part-time and have my own dog, Simba. He is a 4-year-old Shetland Sheepdog (~30 lbs), well trained, but will bark when people come to the door. I like a relatively quiet home, music playing at a lower level, and the occasional get-together at the house with guests. I’m usually asleep by 10 pm (except for special occasions). I’d say I’m a decent cook, I do mostly plant-based but also the occasional seafood or chicken dish. My ideal living situation would be taking turns doing the cooking and cleaning each week. I’m also very active and ideally would like an exercise space for weights, yoga, pole, bike, etc.
