Will

Hi there, my names Will and I am from London, England. I am very chilled out and calm person. I get on well with everyone and I find it very easy meeting and talking to new people. I’m a pretty confident person and I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone, trying new experiences and exploring new places.

I currently work in a college in London teaching A Level history and mentoring Post 16 students but I am due to be travelling across Canada from September 12th and my first stop is Vancouver. I plan to be in Vancouver till at least December (April at most) and I am currently looking for a place to stay or roommates to share accommodation with.

Due to my Canadian visa applications, I have recently had background checks ran on me in order to successfully apply. Likewise, due to the nature of my job, I currently hold a valid DBS check by the UK government.

A little bit about myself for you: My number one passion in life is music. I play the guitar and I try to play every day as I find it is what brings me the most peace. I am a big metal fan and some of my favourite bands are Funeral for a Friend, Killswitch Engage, Holding Absence and Bury Tomorrow. I also enjoy going to the gym and playing football (soccer), being from London I am huge Arsenal fan. Socially, I enjoy spending time with friends whenever I get the chance, whether that’s through going out in London to bars or just chilling in their apartment. History is also a huge passion of mine. Both of my university degrees are in history and I pretty much read history books and journals exclusively. I have a master’s degree in history and I studied at UCL. In terms of my favourite films, I have a huge soft spot for Star Wars and Return of the King. The best film I have ever seen, however, is Schindler’s List. But a film I can watch over and over again and not get bored of is 300.
