Hello humans of Vancouver, I come to your city with a backpack and an open mind. I am coming as an exchange student to finish my final year of law school at UBC. I am seeking out a room to rent in the areas of Kitslano, Point Grey or North Vancouver starting from 28th August (either on a month to month basis or long term if it’s a good fit). A little bit about myself: I am in my mid/late 20’s and have spent many years living in different share houses/flats. I have travelled extensively in the past years, including living in Japan for 6 months (frothing on that Powder), visiting family in the UK and US, as well as a couple surf trips in Mexico and Indonesia. I currently live by the beach here in Sydney. So when I am not reading the ohh so many cases , you can catch me surfing the local point break, running on the trails or swimming in the ocean. I feel most at home when I am out in nature, with the crusty salt on my skin and sand in between my toes. I am looking forward to exploring all the mountains of BC have to offer. At home I enjoy cooking a variety of wholesome, gluten free (my partner is Coeliac) vibrant veggie dishes. I also enjoy reading and meditating. To me the home is a calm sanctuary, I enjoy quiet, early evenings with meaningful conversations. My partner will be joining me in late October.
