I’m a science teacher, professional painter, and I own an educational organization that I run remotely. I moved to Halifax this year and will be starting a full-time teaching job in September at a school near Oxford and Cobourg so I am looking for something close to there. I am looking for a small place for myself or a private room.

I have had many roommates over the years so I’m comfortable living with really any type of person as long as they’re respectful. I love boardgames, dancing, singing, being crafty, and watching movies! I care a lot about the environment and it helps if the people I live with, do their best to lower their negative impact on the earth. I’m okay with parties/people coming over and I wouldn’t do it without asking others that I live with. People have always told me that I’m easy to live with and I’m a great communicator.

Unfortunately I am quite sensitive to scents/perfumes so if you depend on those things in the common space to make you happy then we might not be a good fit. I’m also allergic to cats, dogs, and rats but I’m usually OK if I take allergy meds and avoid cuddling with them (although that’s hard because I truly love animals!).
