Luca & Elvira

Hello!

Here’s Luca and Elvira, two newcomers from Italy who have just landed in Vancouver. We have a working & holiday visa valid for one year, but it’d be great if we could extend our stay for at least another one!

I’ll give a brief insight into our background, so you can decide whether we could be a right fit or not☺️

Elvira is 35 years old and was born in Ukraine but moved to Italy when she was 12 years old. She worked as a fashion store manager for 10 years and she’s endlessly fighting between the desire to eat a whole bakery and being on a healthy diet. She came to Canada primarily to improve her English fluency and secondary to challenge her fears and begin a new chapter of life.

My name is Luca, and I have just turned 35 years old. I have spent the last 20 years of my life trying to understand what I am doing on earth. During the last 10 years, I lived in Australia, NZ, the UK, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, and America. I have a BA in languages and two MAs in communication, but astonishingly I am still working in the hospitality industry.

We love cooking, watching movies, and hiking (we especially love to spot animals, as long as we are not their food…). We are outgoing, talkative, and extrovert.
