Hello. My name is Amber and I’m a 29 year old woman and full-time working professional.

A bit about me: I work in an office setting. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing video games, thrift shopping for deals and vintage or unique clothing pieces, watching movies, going for walks and hiking when the weather is nice. If you want me to elaborate more on my interests feel free to ask.

I am currently looking to move from my current place. I would prefer not to pay more than $800 (with utilities included in that), but may be willing to go up to $900 (again with utilities included in that amount). I’d also prefer to be able to give my 60 days notice if possible rather than move right at this moment, but I might be able to work around that and move sooner. I might be open to teaming up to find a place if a really click with a person, or they have a good place already in mind. Please take a look below at what I would need in a new place and my preferences.

What I would need in a place to live:

• Large personal closet, or walk in closet or large room with enough space to put a large wardrobe (I have a lot of clothes)
• A place with a competent landlord and/or maintenance team that is at least mostly up to date with repairs and will fix things in a timely manner and takes repairs seriously
• No cats (I love cats, but unfortunately I am allergic)
• Laundry in the unit, building or within walking distance
• Close to public transit (preferably within a 10 minute walk)
• No more than 4 other roommates
• Roommates need to be tidy and responsible and good with communication
• CANNOT be in Vanier, Barrhaven, Orleans, Kanata, Byward Market or Stittsville area

Things I would prefer to have in a place to live (but are not necessary)

• I would prefer to live in the Nepean area/West end, or Old Ottawa South or Old Ottawa East
• I would prefer to live with all female roommates
• I would prefer to live somewhere that is not right next to a noisy road or highway, school, etc
• I would prefer to have roommates who are closer to my age
• I would prefer a month to month rental agreement, can be a lease or roommate agreement, but I’m still open to a longer or year lease if needed
• I would prefer to sleep in a bedroom WITHOUT a carpet (would prefer that there are no carpets in the unit in general)
