Hi! I’m in my early thirties and looking for a room in a shared house to start May 1st, 2026. I am an international researcher and I am working as a Postdoc in plant breeding and organic agriculture systems. I have vast experience living with roomates since 2019 throughout gradschool in Madison, WI (USA). I value open and respectful communication to live comfortably with other folks, as well as being responsible at taking over house related chores and keeping common areas tidy. I hope to find a similar living situation with like-minded people :)

House and room qualities I’m looking for:

• Not a basement room
• Room has a window and can fit a Queen bed comfortably plus a desk/dresser
• In-unit/building laundry
• In Kitsilano neighbourhood (between Alma and Arbutus, and betwee 1st and 16th)

Rommate preferences:

• Responsible, clean, good communication, open to hang out or share meals now and then.
• Open to community houses!
