House and room qualities I’m looking for:

• Available starting September 1st. Can be later but only on the 1st of each month so I ca give a month’s notice to my current house.
• Room has a window and can fit a Queen bed comfortably plus a desk/dresser
• In-unit laundry
• Locations of preference: West Point Grey, Kitsilano, Greektown.

Rommate preferences:

• Responsible, clean, good communication, open to hang out or share meals now and then.
• Ocassional overnight guests are ok.
• Open to community houses!

About me: Hi! I am a 31 year old female looking for a room in a shared house. I am an international researcher and I am working as a Postdoc in plant breeding and organic agriculture systems. I have vast experience living with roomates since 2019 throughout gradschool in Madison, WI (USA). My last home was a community house with 12 other members, so I understand that communication and respect are key to live comfortably with other folks, as well as being responsible at taking over house related chores and keeping common areas tidy. I hope to find a similar living situation with like-minded people :)
