Hello, About me: I am a mature female working professional, an Asian Canadian, working and living in Canada for 25 years. I keep myself organized and arranged and live a modest and simple life. I have two adult children who are settled and live on their own. I am working in hybrid work settings, working 2-3 days in the office and the rest of the days working from home. I maintained a career with consistent employment. I am also a writer during my spare time. I do light cooking once a week (mostly healthy food but not oriental) and organize to do my laundry every other week. I am a quiet person in nature and have no visitors apart from occasional visits from my children, but no overnight stays. I am a non-smoker (any kind.) I am looking for a house to share with a female landlord with similar values and lifestyle My main requirements are a furnished room with closet space and a dedicated washroom. For the rest, I am ok with sharing the kitchen, living area (hardly used), laundry and backyard. I have a vehicle; therefore, parking is required. I am also open to studio or bachelor units. I don’t carry any heavy furniture apart from a few items, 3stools, a TV, a few pots and pans, a few utensils and mugs and of course my clothes and shoes. I have a work desk that I like to keep inside the room. If the house offers a suitable work desk, then I will leave my current work desk behind. A small kitchen cabinet space to keep my cooking items is appreciated. My budget is negotiable depending on what you are offering. I agree to compile with first, last and any deposit requirements before moving. Geographical areas: Oakville, Oakville / Mississauga border (Erin Mills, Winston Churchill), Oakville /Burlington (Dundas), Waterdown or Milton (last option.) It is not necessary to be closer to malls or shopping areas but to walking trails or paths. Timelines: July 2025, but flexible, to move in early if it’s the right place, can delay as well (until I find the right place or for any other reasonable requests from the landlord.) I can provide: references, confirmation of employment, recent pay slip, and credit score. The industry I am working currently requires full background clearance but if it’s a must then I could provide it.
