Hello! I’m Maria (she/her):) I’m starting UBC’s accelerated post-degree BSN this September and am looking for a long-term, cat-friendly room to rent starting July or August! I’m 25, have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and have been working as an office manager for the last few years. In my free time, I enjoy lifting, running, music (I play piano and sing, and am learning the bass), reading, spending time with friends, hiking, and baking (I love sharing what I bake and always am open to requests!). I have a cat child, Lady Arwen, who will be joining me for the move! She is a bit shy, but has lived with other cats (and a bunny) and will warm up with time. I value clear, friendly communication and setting expectations around cleaning, managing household tasks, etc. so that everyone can enjoy a friendly, safe, peaceful home environment. Community is important to me, and I would love to live with folks who I can become friends with! Sharing the occasional communal meal and sometimes doing things together would be lovely, while respecting our needs for personal space. I will be busy with my studies and clinicals, so I’ll need to be in a place that isn’t a party house. I keep common areas tidy and want to live with folks who also want to foster a friendly, relaxed, homey environment!
