Julia

I’m Julia, I’m 31 years old and I am a PostDoc at McGill. I came to Montreal in November 2024 and have been living by myself since then. I am now looking for a room in a shared apartment because moving to a new country by myself was a bit overwhelming and I feel like I would feel safer and less alone if I was to share a space with someone.

I am a responsible (sometimes too responsible for my own good…) and respectful person and I like to have a clean home :-) I like being sociable equally well as being by myself after a long day. I am looking for a co-living style where it is ok if my door is closed but where it is also natural to just have a glass of wine in the evening and chat or cook a dinner together. So all in all, just a peaceful and kind co-living experience!

some more facts about me:

• My preferred move-in date is September or October and I would like to stay for one year (end of my contract with McGill is Oct 31st 2026)
• I do not have any furniture, just small things like a blanket or a pan and three small plants
• I love animals, but I do not have any of my own currently
• I love yoga, books, netflix, restaurants, going out for drinks, chilling in a park, going on long walks etc etc (I am not the overly adventurous type when it comes to hobbies…:-D)
