At the end of last year, I finished a four-year stint running a wine program at a well-established restaurant in Seattle. I’d say I am at the end of my career but am still thinking about consulting and recently returned to Canada to stop, breathe, think, and enjoy life. Currently, working part-time. in what I am now referring to as my gap year. I am a low-maintenance roommate that tends to keep late hours (thanks to over 30 years in hospitality), but am up before 830am. I practice yoga and dabble in other fitness classes, love to read (and brought a ton of unread books back with me), cook, and am a lifelong learner. I enjoy cooking and am looking forward to being around plants (I gave away over 50 when I left Seattle). I tend to keep to myself when I am at home and consider myself a high-functioning introvert. I do have a low tolerance for drama and lots of noise (tv, phone, and television going at the same time? not for me) and a high tolerance for humans who respect humans. I also love dogs. Looking for a fully furnished room in shared apt. or furnished 1BR for end of September / early October. I do not drive and need to be close to C-Train or regular bus routes.
