Ben, Emerson & Kerida

Howdy! We are Ben (profile picture and contact info), Emerson, Kerida, and Felipe! We’re four queer-friendly immigrants: Ben is a Ph.D. student at UBC-Vancouver doing education research within the sciences, Kerida is a physiotherapist looking for work, Emerson has worked in community health coordination and is also looking for work (and waiting on Canadian citizenship proof), and Felipe is a PR who currently works as a bartender. We are very “chill hang out” socializers and enjoy talking, reading, watching shows, crafting, and playing games. We have a lot of alcohol but do not regularly drink (Felipe teaches bartending classes and will enjoy a drink or two during a week), and some of us enjoy edibles on occasion. We have vehicles and enjoy having clear structure about house care and shared space usage (though obviously we are very friendly).

We have pets! Kerida and Emerson have two lovely older cats, Felipe has an older cat, and Ben has six tarantulas (has kept them for 11 years with no escapes or bites!).
