Hi, my name is Lara and I am originally from the South of Germany. I will come to Canada, more specifically Edmonton, in 2026 through the International Experience Canada (IEC) - specifically the Working Holiday Visa that allows me to live and work freely for about a year. Currently I am still at university and will finish my bachelors degree in March 2026 - shortly before travelling to Canada. I studied Communication & Public Relation and worked at a Sportsmarketing-Agency during my studies and also wrote for magazines and newspapers. I am very excited about meeting new people and going out and about into new places. I am clean, open-minded, love to cook, read and play my instrument and have experience of living alone and with roommates in Germany. Currently I am looking for jobs in the Communication & Journalism area but are also open for Minijobs, Studentjobs or non-full-time jobs that allow me to earn some money while still having time to experience and travel around the country. I look forward to my time in Canada and hope to find a place to stay with some really cool people that make my Canada-experience even better! :)
