So I am a FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) [2x2] mine site worker who works 2 weeks away from home, then am home for 2 weeks. This schedule is consistent and I’ve been employed by my current company for 2 years with intent on staying with them long term as I like the rotation.

Ideally I am looking for other Fly In Fly Out workers in hopes that we find a place to rent where we are pretty much only home when the other is away at work and vice versa.

I am a 36 year old male professional with my only negative quirks being that I am an introverted anti social person who likes to stay up late at night gaming on my PC.

I have no spouse, children or pets, nobody else would be home besides me while you are away at work. I am responsible financially and have morals, so I would never be short on rent, your belongings would remain safe and secure and the home would stay tidy and be left clean every time upon your arrival home from your rotation.

I currently reside in Port Alberni, and would like to stay on Vancouver Island, but am open to Vancouver area as well.

Ideally I’d like to live somewhere that has an airport, or at least a ferry that connects to Vancouver as I have to fly to and from work every 2 weeks, but if the right place comes along, an airport or ferry isn’t a deal breaker.

So to wrap this up, I’m just a 36 year old dude who doesn’t wanna be around other people, who is a night owl and likes to game at night and wants to save money on rent with someone else who isn’t home while I’m on days off 😂.

We can rent an apartment or a house, whichever works best for you, I’m pretty easy going.

If our schedules line up for a few days where we are home at the same time, I will likely either go see my parents in Port Alberni or go on a mini vacation until you’re gone so we don’t have to actually ever see each other 😅 yes I am that anti social.

Also don’t mind if you have a pet, I can take care of it while you’re away at work. I’m the type that will walk your dog daily. I do go on vacations though so don’t be surprised if you need to use a pet sitter for when I’m not home.
