Australian on a working visa after 2 months of accommodation (August and September 2026). Currently looking for employment and volunteer opportunities on the east coast, however, I have a steady Australian income so paying rent is never a worry.

35, queer guy who loves animals, the beach, reading, art and hiking. Sociable but not in your pocket. Very outdoorsy and love to keep busy. Quite particular with cleaning. Have shared in large share houses, small share houses and lived on my own. Do not smoke anything, do not drink but don’t mind if you do. I love meeting new people and do enjoy a household that enjoys spending time together, but also completely okay with somewhere where people keep to themselves too. I like the option to have friends visit from time to time, I have a social network in Vancouver already (I only have one friend visit at a time).

Prefer West End to Commercial Drive areas. Must be walking distance to shops or bus stop/train as I don’t have a car.
