Looking for a female roommate for an apartment on Peel Street

My roommate is moving out because of footsteps noises from upstairs (mostly just walking sounds, no talking or music). Noise perception is subjective so I can’t say if it’d be bothering to you. The apartment is quite old so that’s probably why.

Now, good things about the apartment are:

  1. good location, 5min walk away from McGill if you’re a student there; also about 15min walk from Concordia; there are cafes & restaurants & convenient stores nearby
  2. bed, other furniture & kitchenware are available; for details
  3. rent including everything is around $1120

Besides, the bathroom is shared.

Me as a roommate:

  1. quiet, chill, respectful
  2. like cooking and experimenting new recipes
  3. I’m a phd student and I don’t have many classes; I spend quite a bit of time at home

If you don’t mind the footsteps, I hope you:

  1. like asian food bc it’s very important to me that we can enjoy food together (I like sharing!!!)
  2. keep a peaceful and respectful home environment. I don’t expect complete silence but I appreciate being considerate of each other. Music? Yes!
  3. are okay with no overnight guests. Daytime visits are fine, and sometimes I invite my boyfriend over for lunch or dinner.
