Hi, I’m Silvana (she/they), I’m 28 and moving to Toronto for a research visit with the philosophy department of U of T for the fall term. I’m German living in Uppsala, Sweden, where I am pursuing my PhD in social change and ethics. Yes, I love talking philosophy - no I don’t know more than you about the meaning of life, sorry in advance! I’m super excited to explore Toronto and its queer culture (coming from a small town). I love meeting new people and have shared flats for most of my life. I value communication, mutual respect and taking care of shared spaces together. I am social but also calm and enjoy regular alone time. I don’t smoke or drink. Whenever I cook, I’ll offer you some (will be vegan). I’m looking to take a Heels class during my stay. I have a salary and travel funding from my Swedish employer, which will cover the rent. PREFERENCES:

• A furnished place
• I’d prefer to live with others, however, if any of you would like to sublet a flat for the period I am looking for, I am also interested in that!
• I’m happy to adapt to your living environment. I can thrive in both a co-existing type living arrangement as well as one with more interaction and hangouts, with a preference for the latter.
• My little sister and a friend would like to come visit each for a week so it would be great if that was possible.
