Cannabis, smoke friendly, but don’t use myself.

I believe I would make a great roommate as I am a very quiet, easy going person, that is very friendly to anybody that is even rude to me. I am just going to be straight up as honest as I can, and say that I have been living with my Mom since I lost my apartment in Bolton, ON during Covid. I was working at a thrift store in Bolton called Evolve Caledon (current name) that is run through a government program called Caledon Community Services. I was furloughed during government shutdown, meaning I could have taken my job back when the shutdown ended, but as much as I loved that job, I never liked living in Bolton. I took this opportunity to try to find new work, but instead fell into a depression. I’ve lived with my Mother for the past 5-6 years and at first she didn’t want me to stay long, but I am such a quiet person, that tidies up after themselves right away, that my mom just wasn’t bothered by me being there for so long as she hardly ever knew I was there. She never would accept rent from me, but everything else I would do for myself, including cooking and cleaning. I am somebody who will wash whatever dishes I use, immediately after I am done eating.

The reason I am having to find a place to live now is that if I stay there much longer I will burn through my savings and have no where to start from. I want to move back to Alliston as that is where I grew up, and I have always thought it is the perfect size of town to live in, despite how much it has grown/changed since I was a child.

I don’t have my license at the moment because I let it expire during Covid, but have plans later this day to go to Barrie and see if I can start fresh with a new G1.

I am very pet friendly, never smoked, haven’t drank in years. I used to smoke weed, but quit about a month ago and don’t plan on looking back. Something I find about quitting is that it gets easier when you move somewhere you have never smoked before, as it just hasn’t become a routine there yet, so I honestly believe I have put an end to my bad habits for good.

All that said though, I don’t mind being around it, I don’t mind if you are a smoker or a drinker either. All things that I can happily live with and won’t effect me in the slightest.

My hobbies are pretty much all digital. I am known for spending most of my free time in front of my computer. If I am ever doing something though, I also use headphones. I never use speakers to watch anything. I am a very quiet person because of this. If I am home, sometimes you will barely even notice. Besides that though, I do like going for daily walks, whether it be to the grocery store, or just to stretch my legs a little.

The only thing I will add is that I won’t plan on being a roommate forever, I am just looking for something cheap while I get back on my feet in Alliston and then will be looking for my own place, given I have the funds to do so.
