Hi! I’m from Italy and moved to Montreal in January 2026 to pursue a PhD in deep learning at Mila. I’ll be living in Montreal until at least the end of 2029 while completing my studies. I’m quiet, tidy, independent, and respectful of shared spaces. I have of experience living with roommates, both during my bachelor’s and master’s studies in Italy and here in Montreal. I spend most of my weekdays at Mila and enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and seeing friends. I cook at home almost every day. I’m mainly looking for a peaceful and comfortable home where I can relax and occasionally work, but I’d also be happy to become friends with my roommates and spend some time together. I’m a non-smoker and don’t have any pets in Canada, although I love animals and would be comfortable living with them (I have a lovely black cat back home in Italy). I speak Italian and English, and I’m looking forward to learning French! I already have bedroom furniture from my previous apartment, so I’m ideally looking for an unfurnished room.
