Daniel Zimmerman

Hello! My name is Daniel and I am 24 year old landscaper studying to become a teacher. I finished my undergrad at Vancouver Island University in 2024, then moved to Japan for a year to teach English. After returning home to BC for a year, I am excited to be going back to school this fall where I will be getting my Bachelor of Education from UBC.

A bit about me: I enjoy staying active and involved in community sports, either through participation in rec leagues or coaching youth. Additionally I love to read and play the piano, (I have a keyboard with headphones so as to not disturb anyone I live with). I would describe myself as an easygoing, friendly, and respectful individual who enjoys learning, meeting new people, and trying new things.

As a roommate: I am very clean in shared spaces (my room can be it’s own battle at times!) and value the importance of honest, open communication with the people I live with. I respect privacy and enjoy having my own, while I am still excited at the opportunity of getting to know potential future roommates.

I am looking to move in somewhere in August ideally, but can be a bit flexible.
