Zlata Lachner

Hi! My name is Zlata, and I’m a 23-year-old student from Germany studying Translation with a focus on German, French, and Russian. From September until the end of January, I’ll be in Montréal for an internship at the Goethe-Institut (Boul. Saint-Laurent, Quartier des Spectacles), so I’m looking for a comfortable place nearby with a reasonable commute (ideally around 30 minutes or less).

I love languages and cultures and am currently also learning Chinese in my free time. I’m an open-minded, curious, and tidy person who enjoys meeting new people and discovering new places. During my studies, I had the opportunity to live with a host family in Toulouse, France, which was a wonderful experience and made me appreciate cultural exchange and shared living even more.

For that reason, I’m preferably looking for accommodation with students, a host family, or local roommates rather than living alone. I enjoy spending time with others, exchanging recommendations, and exploring the city together while still respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space.
