Rent alone… in this economy?!

I’m an introvert (still friendly) who would honestly rather live alone with my two cats but really needing to save money right now.

I just turned 40, and have decided on an early retirement from the classroom to transition to online/freelance work. Maybe it’s a mid-life crisis…

Taking some online courses atm towards my editing certificate at SFU. I like cooking, yoga/running, reading/writing. Don’t have many friends- guests would be rare. I do spend quite a bit of time at home but am extremely clean (I clean litter DAILY), respectful, and like to keep to myself though it would be nice to make a friend in the process.

Hoping to find a roommate who has no pets (but is good with cats), is clean/tidy, and is easygoing. Ideally someone who is also low-key and doesn’t party all the time. If you think this might be you, send me a message and we can meet up, discuss what we are looking for in a place, then go apartment/house shopping. I’m not wanting to pay more than $700 a month, all utilities included, to give you an idea of my budget. Saving for van life! Female preferred. 420 friendly. Age is just a number. My ideal move out date is September, but that’s flexible, as is the area of the city.

PLEASE NOTE: My boi cat does not enjoy strangers. He will be extremely spicy at first. It’s essential that you be ok with this should you reply to this ad. He should warm up to you (to some extent) eventually. My girl cat will be your best friend immediately. She’s super sweet!
