Hi! I’m Mattia, 28, and originally from Italy. I’ve just finished a PhD in philosophy at Oxford, and in October I’m moving to Toronto for a two-year postdoc at U of T.

I’m looking for a room in a friendly house where people enjoy sharing a meal or a drink now and then—somewhere that feels like a home rather than five strangers passing in the corridor. I’m tidy without being precious about it, and I play soccer badly but with enthusiasm. If you let me, I’ll talk your ear off about philosophy and films.

Practical details: I’m looking to move in October, and since my post runs two years I’m after something long-term. I’ll be a salaried U of T employee and can provide an employment letter. I’m a non-smoker and have no pets.
