Hi, I’m Derek! I’m an Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, currently in my third year.

I tend to keep to myself, so my noise level can be expected to be low. If I’m not already out of the house, you’ll find me mostly in my room, studying quietly by myself. I like to keep my areas neat and organized, including the bathroom in particular (I wear slippers indoors). In terms of the kitchen, I usually cook simple meals (rice, steamed dishes), always washing my dishes right after finishing up eating and not using much cookware or utensils (mostly just the rice cooker or a single pot).

On the whole, you can expect me to generally stay out of the way while we live together, but always able help with anything if it comes up (cleaning, mail, etc.). If this sounds like what you are looking for, then feel free to reach out! I look forward to talking with you all.
