My name is Dave. I’m 33 years old and currently living in Cornwall, ON, but looking to relocate to Ottawa in the coming months.

Preferably looking for a room that is unfurnished or semi-furnished, but can be flexible on this. Access to a washing machine/dryer is essential. I don’t drive, so no need for a parking space, but will need to be fairly near transit (10 mins walk max). Grocery stores/shops within a 20 min walk are a bonus. My max budget is $1000pm exc utilities or $1150 inc utilities. I have pencilled-in moving around November, but somewhat flexible with this.

I’m currently unable to work due to various health issues, but I do receive ODSP and have additional monthly income. I have good credit history and have an unbroken record of paying rent either early or on-time (my current landlord can vouch for this). I can provide excellent references and am happy to undergo a background check if needed.

A little about me: I’m a quiet, considerate person and looking to live in a calm, quiet, and respectable household with roommates who value the same. I’m a chill, friendly guy although I tend to keep to myself and do my own thing. I don’t drink or smoke. In the future, I’m looking to get involved in politics in Ottawa, learn French, and possibly return to school at some point. Some of my hobbies include politics, gaming, walking, hockey, and genealogy.
