Hi, I’m Julie and I’m looking for a place in Lake Country with a budget of $1,750 per month because I work in the wine industry and I am currently looking for a job in that area or south. My daughter (13) lives in Vernon and is happy there, so it’s just me, full time. I love cats and dogs, no allergies. I did my degree at UVic in the 90’s in Women’s Studies and English Lit and I am currently struggling to write a book, lol. I used to be a hiking/tour guide in Banff and I’m new to the Okanagan as of last year so I’m looking for new friends. I’m really outgoing and I get along with folks of all ages. I ski in winter and I love to talk, especially about wine. A former homeowner who rented out a room for many years and I’ve travelled all over the world - so I’m pretty easy going and I’m used to shared spaces. These days I’m a freebird with savings, going through a career reinvention, feeling like a tourist who decided to immigrate to the Okanagan. I too, used to rent out a room in my place over this site as a landlord. Gotta say, I’ve met some good people over the years.
