Radiance is the first Cohousing Community in Western Canada built to Passive House Standards. In a nutshell, this means the residents care deeply about being good neighbors, and it is incredibly energy efficient (heating costs next to nothing).  It was built as a model to demonstrate what healthy social and environmentally sustainable living can look like on the prairies. We are located directly across the street from Optimist Park and walking distance to schools, the river, downtown and the Meewasin Trail. Many residents commute by foot or bike to work.
