Hello everyone! I’m renting a private room in a furnished apartment starting July 1 for women only.

This is a ground floor unit with another family renting out the upstairs and we are on the ground floor. Perfect for a working professional, and students looking for a clean and calm place to call home. We are steps away from 49th and Victoria Dr, with 2 major bus lines (49 UBC and 20 Victoria/ Downtown) 5 minutes walk away. The room comes partially furnished with a desk and chair and a bunk bed. You are welcome to bring your own bed if you’d like and we can take the other one out. There is a small storage room to keep all the extra stuff. Utilities are not included in the rent but they go upto $50-$100 pp and includes wifi, heat and electricity. The deposit is half a month’s rent. Laundry is in the unit and we have our own washer but the dryer is shared with the family upstairs.

You’d be sharing the place with 2 more people, both female and in our early 20s. We have been living here for over an year and absolutely love this place. We sometimes cook together, go out, play games and watch movies whenever we get the chance. You are always welcome to join us :) We both work full-time, so we are rarely home during the day. We are okay with your friends or family coming in and staying if they want to, as long as you discuss it with us first. We both are originally from India, and would prefer if you share similar background although it’s not necessary.
