Hi! I’m looking for a roommate for my 2-bedroom apartment on Fourth Avenue in the Glebe from September 1st - May 31st. THIS IS A NEW LEASE, NOT A SUBLET.

I am looking for another female student/working professional, preferably in their early-mid 20s.

The rent is $950/month + ~$50/month for some additional utilities (Hydro+Wifi).

The apartment is cozy and bright with lots of natural light and is a 5 minute walk from Bank Street, a 20 minute bus to Carleton University, and a 2 minute walk from the Rideau Canal! There are lots of grocery stores/pharmacies/restaurants in the area: Metro (7 min walk) Loblaws (12 min walk), and Shoppers Drug Mart (8 min walk). No parking spot included, but street parking is available with a permit.

The main spaces in the apartment are fully furnished, and my current roommate is willing to leave some furniture in the available bedroom if desired (ask more about this if you are interested). The apartment also has 2 balconies, and shared paid laundry with the other 6 units (which has never been an issue of sharing). There is an additional secure storage unit in the basement.

I’m Isabel! I am going into my 4th year at Carleton University studying Industrial Design. I’m an artistic and outdoorsy person, I love camping and I’ve recently gotten into rockclimbing. I’m quite outgoing but I will also be studying a lot for my capstone project this year.
