👉 AVAILABLE: August 1st or September 1st, 2026 until June 30th, 2027 👉 LOCATION: H7V 1B2 Apartment Complex, 4th Floor, Waterfront Access 👉 PROFILE: Looking for a full-time worker or full-time student. Single occupancy only. 👉 PETS: Allowed on a case-by-case basis only. Pet owners must be independent, highly responsible, and strictly maintain the cleanliness of the shared spaces under our household system. 👉 SMOKING: No smoking indoors or on the balcony.
ABOUT THE HOME: 👉 Strict “clean-as-you-go” household system. 👉 Quiet, introvert-friendly space in a peaceful, secure building. 👉 This is an independent, non-collective household. Roommates must be meticulously clean in shared areas and respect basic house rules. 👉 No home-based businesses allowed.
THE APARTMENT & ROOM: 👉 3-bedroom unit. Including you, there will be 3 roommates total. 👉 RENT INCLUDES: Heat, Hydro, and Unlimited High-Speed Internet. 👉 ROOM SIZE: 9’ x 12’. Furnished with a clean mattress (with protector), desk, curtains, mirror, shelf, and hangers. (Note: You must bring your own bedding—sheets, pillows, warm blankets/quilt).
PARKING: 📌 Free street parking is available. 📌 Optional indoor garage parking is available for an extra $140/month (making the total rent $900/month if you choose this option).
SHARED SPACES: 👉 KITCHEN: 1 dedicated storage section (4 shelves) per person, 1 shelf in the fridge, and dedicated freezer space. Shared stove, kitchen table, cookware, and dishes. (Note: Cleaning up immediately after food preparation is a strict house rule). 👉 BATHROOM (Shared with one person): Strict weekly cleaning rotation required. 👉 HALWAY CLOSET: 1/4 hanging space for jackets/coats.
BUILDING AMENITIES & SERVICES: 👉 Resort Access: Full gym, Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, heated indoor pool, library lounge, private theatre, and billiards room. 👉 On-Site Conveniences: Laundry facilities, convenience store (Dep), pharmacy, hair salon, sewing store, and medical clinic. 👉 Outdoor Lifestyle: Right on the beautiful Chomedey riverfront with immediate park access and multi-use bike paths.
TRANSIT & COMMUTE: 📌 15-min walk across the bridge to the Montreal side. 📌 20-min direct bus ride to Cartier Metro. 📌 Alternate routes: Quick walk to catch the 69-Ouest to Henri-Bourassa Metro, or direct buses to Côte-Vertu Metro.
FEES & LOGISTICS: 📌 Key Deposit: $40 refundable deposit (covers building security fob, apartment key, and laundry card). 📌 Cleaning Supplies: Must provide and use your own dish soap, sponge, and personal cleaning supplies. 📌 Window Cleaning: Once per year, shared building maintenance cost (to be discussed). 📌 Mail: Mail is securely distributed directly to your room door.
ABOUT THE LEASEHOLDER: 👉 I’m a 47-year-old full-time professional artist with 30 years of self-employed experience. I manage the household and navigate life with ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and other invisible disabilities. The main room doubles as my active creative studio, which occasionally transforms for large-scale projects. I am fully vaccinated and looking for someone who thrives in a quiet, highly respectful, artistic sanctuary.
APPLICATION PROCESS:

Step 1: First contact via DM/Email. Please introduce yourself, your daily schedule, your moving timeline, and details about your pet if you are applying with one.

Step 2: Initial virtual meeting via Zoom, Skype, or Facebook Video.

Step 3: In-person viewing of the apartment facilities and a model layout of the bedroom setup. (Note: The outgoing tenant is uncooperative with viewings, so to respect everyone’s peace, we will be viewing an identical room layout belonging to my other roommate as our model).

Step 4: Rental contract finalized once the first month’s rent is paid and the Roommate Agreement is signed in person.

The other roommate who is staying, he’s a 64-year-old man, has two quiet budgies in his bedroom, does bookkeeping for a living and works from home, introverted, keeps to his bedroom usually unless cooking etc.
