Hi! We’re two friends living together in a 4 bedroom and 2.5 bath house in Vanier and both of us are currently pursuing masters’ programs. Two bedrooms in our rental house will be made available as of the end of August. Considering it’s a house rental as opposed to student housing or bedroom renting, we would all be signing onto a new lease for September 2026 through August 2027. The house itself has central heating and cooling. We are therefore blessed with AC during hot summer days. You would be a good match if you value fostering a clean and friendly environment and don’t mind living with a cat (1 year old cuddly goofball called Chana). We have a weekly chore system on rotation to make sure we take good care of the house while keeping things fair. Each bedroom costs $850/month + split utilities and you would be sharing a bathroom with one other person, except if you decide to rent both rooms for $1700/month + utilities. We have an in-unit washer and dryer as well as a big smart dishwasher, double door fridge with water dispenser and bottom drawer freezer, microwave and stove, and a big standing freezer in the garage for extra storage space. We also have a big screen smart TV in the common area. We’re academically inclined and the house is typically quiet by 9:30 or 10pm. We occasionally host small friend get-togethers; mostly dinner, movie and/or board game nights. We are the ones responsible for putting out garbage and recycling, mowing the lawn and clearing the snow from the driveway. Not only are we located in a nice neighborhood in Vanier right next to Beechwood cemetery and a sugar shack with gorgeous maple trees in the fall, several grocery stores and restaurants are easily accessible and there are bus stops nearby with several bus lines to choose from that will take you directly downtown. We would prefer young professionals in their twenties or grad students, but all parties are welcome to reach out. We are a smoke-free house and LGBTQ2SL+ friendly!

Clara (myself) : I’m 25 years old and starting my second year of Master’s of Counselling at Saint Paul University. I like to read fantasy books, workout, go on nature walks, spend time with friends, watch TV and practice different forms of art in my free time (especially singing and painting). Kuhu : My friend is 23 years old and starting her second year of Master’s program in Psychiatric Science at the University of Ottawa in September. Among other things, she enjoys to crochet and songwrite (singing and guitar), as well as spend time with friends.
